Beauty industry for years have been generating insecurities to human for selling their products. They want to make sure that we feel we are not enough so that we would purchase a product to complete ourselves.
The beauty care advertisements are targeted to build insecurities in our mind. They flaunt ultra beautiful models photoshopped to perfection for us to compare ourselves with them and feel less.
They sell fairness creams saying our colour is not good enough for us to be successful or attractive. They sell deodorants saying you will attract the opposite sex with this. They Target every insecurity possible to make money.
They market beard as manliness to make us buy beard oils and beard wax. They even tell if you don't have beard you are not a MAN !!
They create self doubt, they break our self esteem, they make us feel less and try to incorporate every possible way to focus on our external beauty.
We need to understand the very fact that we are already beautiful and we are more than ENOUGH. We should stop comparing ourselves with others as we are unique and beautiful in our own way.
We should not be creating a mental construct about beauty standards and compare ourselves to the never achievable standards.
We should be focussing on our inner beauty, our talent, our skill sets and what we are. If we could see our beauty through our own eyes then our world will change, we will feel powerful.
Beauty lies in your character. External beauty has an expiry date but the beauty of your heart will stay forever even if you die !!
When the beauty industry says We are not enough, just tell them we are more than ENOUGH and we are already beautiful and our smiles are thousand times more beautiful than your fake makeup.
